AVI&WMV is a free video converter for Windows computers. It is a very simple converter that only supports a few formats: the application only accepts AVI, MP4, MPEG, and WMV files, and it can convert to either AVI or WMV. The application is incredibly basic and simple in design. It works in two different modes: AVI to WMV and WMV to AVI. If you want to open a WMV file, you won't be able to, unless you select the correct mode.
You can add as many videos as you want to the conversion queue and they will all be converted into the selected format one after another. There aren't really any conversion settings at all. So, if a file you converted using this tool doesn't look entirely good, well, tough luck.
I tested both modes during my time with this little app, and I am glad to say that the application worked fine in both modes. The quality of both the video and the audio after conversion was very similar to that of the original file. The conversion process was quite fast for a free tool, as well. The only thing that I'd add to this app is a little window with quality settings for the conversion process.
